As part of their 30 year review and Medium Term Development Plan drafting processes, the DPME invited former DGs to join a discussion reflecting on past Medium Term Strategic Frameworks and how the process for drafting the MTDP can be improved.
Also as part of the 30 year review process, the AfDG is partnering with Nedlac, MISTRA and PARI to produce a report for the seventh administration based on a series of collaborative workshops to be held in 2024. The report will first reflect and record what social partners see as the achievements and lessons of the first 30 years for socio-economic issues, and, drawing on these reflections, will propose a number of strategic focus areas for the seventh administration.
