Interested in joining the Association of Former Directors-General?

The criteria for joining are:

• Public service as a director-general (e.g. a head of a national department or of an Office of the Premier) but not currently occupying such position;
• Adherence to the values enshrined in section 195 of the Constitution during tenure as director-general;
• Adherence to values befitting a former director general, e.g. continued participation in the life of the Republic with integrity, accountability, and appropriate transparency. Serious and credible allegations of misconduct will disqualify a person from this criterion.

Former Directors-General wishing to apply for membership of the AfDG should meet the criteria for membership and are required to complete and sign a membership form.
